Designed to improve communication and workflow, the CGS-9100 Pager Gateway Server enables alarm notification directly to the clinician using portable devices such as smart phones, PDAs and pagers. With a single point connection to the Nihon Kohden monitoring network, alarm information from all patients is captured and forwarded to a third-party alarm controller system. The alarm controller system delivers each alarm event to the appropriate clinician to insure timely response to alarms.
As patient alarms are transmitted to the right person(s), at the right time – quality of care and patient satisfaction can be improve significantly.
